Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Telegram Web without a phone?
You need a phone number to create a Telegram account. After that, you can use Telegram Web independently without your phone being online (unlike WhatsApp Web which required phone connection in the past).
Is Telegram Web as secure as the mobile app?
Telegram Web uses the same encryption for cloud chats. However, Secret Chats (end-to-end encrypted) are only available on mobile. For maximum security, use the desktop app over the web version.
Can I be logged in on multiple devices?
Yes! Telegram supports unlimited simultaneous sessions across all platforms. You can be logged in on your phone, tablet, desktop, and web browser all at the same time.
