Bitcoin ETF Inflows Hit $137M as October Turns Positive
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted $137 million on Wednesday, extending their daily inflow streak to three sessions. According to SoSoValue, the three-day total reached approximately $424 million, pushing October’s net inflows to $111 million with two trading days remaining. The recovery followed nearly $774 million in outflows during the final two trading sessions of the previous week.
The rebound came after the Federal Reserve held its benchmark interest rate at 3.75%–4%. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh said inflation remained above the central bank’s 2% target, maintaining a hawkish outlook. Bitget analyst Lewis Huang noted that Bitcoin’s near-term performance could depend heavily on Treasury yields, dollar movements and broader risk sentiment as the market digests the Fed’s decision.
Bitcoin traded at $79,848, down roughly 1% over the previous 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index remained at 51, marking a second consecutive day of neutral sentiment despite the renewed ETF inflows.
Ether ETFs continued to face withdrawals, losing another $21 million on Wednesday. October’s cumulative Ether ETF outflows reached $1.35 billion as ETH fell 1.7% to $2,310. The divergence highlights investors’ renewed preference for Bitcoin exposure while maintaining a more cautious stance toward Ether.
