Bitcoin ETFs Pull $3.8B in 3 Weeks as 2026 Inflow Streak Hits High

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds closed their strongest three-week stretch of 2026, attracting $3.8 billion in net inflows, according to SoSoValue data. The latest week alone drew $986.9 million, bringing total net assets across all US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs to $101.3 billion as of Friday, with cumulative net inflows reaching $55.6 billion. The surge marks a sharp reversal from heavy outflows earlier in the year, though year-to-date flows remain approximately $1 billion negative.

Daily momentum cooled on Friday, when spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $174.6 million in net inflows, down from nearly $731 million on Thursday. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the pack with $117.4 million, accounting for roughly 67% of the day's total, per Farside Investors data. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) was the only other fund to post net inflows, drawing $57.2 million, while every other US spot Bitcoin ETF reported zero net flows. Bitcoin itself dipped from around $81,200 to briefly below $79,000 during the session, trading at $79,716 at publication, up 2.6% over the prior seven days according to CoinGecko.

The Bitcoin ETF outperformance contrasted sharply with weaker appetite for competing products. US spot Ether ETF inflows dropped 74% week-over-week to $218.4 million from $824.4 million, while XRP ETF inflows plunged 83% to $19 million from $110.5 million. Despite the weekly cooldown, Ether and XRP ETFs remain in positive territory for 2026, with roughly $863 million and $515 million in year-to-date net inflows respectively, suggesting institutional capital is rotating decisively back toward Bitcoin exposure amid ongoing macro uncertainty.
