DGrid AI's DGAI Token Surges 93% as Decentralized AI Inference Network Goes Live
DGrid AI's native DGAI token jumped nearly 93% within its first 24 hours of trading, reaching approximately $0.73 and posting a market capitalization of around $110 million with trading volume exceeding $165 million, according to CoinGecko data. The launch marks a key milestone for the project, which is building a decentralized AI inference network that connects users and developers to distributed nodes capable of processing AI model requests.
The network leverages DGAI for payments, staking, and node operator rewards, relying on a "Proof of Quality" mechanism to evaluate inference outputs. Node operators are required to stake DGAI tokens and earn rewards for supplying compute resources, while facing penalties for poor performance or misconduct. DGrid's litepaper outlines a model-routing system that distributes AI requests across multiple nodes operated independently rather than through a single centralized provider.
Alongside the token debut, DGrid reported selling more than 140 units of its DClaw Box hardware within hours of release, generating over 221,000 USDT at 1,580 USDT per unit. The DClaw Box is a physical device designed to host DGrid's DClaw personal AI agent, enabling users to access AI models through the decentralized node network. The rapid sell-out signals early demand for consumer-grade hardware tied to decentralized AI infrastructure, a growing sector as AI agents and distributed compute gain traction across the crypto industry.
