Fomo Beats Pump.fun in Daily Revenue on Solana Amid Memecoin Boom
Social trading platform Fomo generated $1.76 million in daily revenue on Friday, surpassing memecoin launchpad Pump.fun's $1.1 million, according to DefiLlama data. The single-day milestone marks a notable shift in Solana's competitive DeFi landscape, where Pump.fun has dominated memecoin trading activity.
Despite Fomo's daily revenue lead, Pump.fun remains well ahead over longer timeframes. Over the past 30 days, Pump.fun generated more than $57 million in revenue compared with $17.6 million for Fomo, underscoring Pump.fun's entrenched position in the memecoin launchpad sector. Fomo's edge on Friday reflects growing user interest in its social trading model, which blends cryptocurrency trading with a social media-style feed that lets users view and follow other traders' activity.
Fomo has been scaling rapidly throughout 2026. In June, the company closed a $75 million Series B funding round led by Index Ventures, which valued the platform at $550 million. The company reported that more than 68,000 users made their first cryptocurrency purchase through the app using Apple Pay, generating approximately $25 million in transaction volume. By June 2, Fomo had distributed over $2 million in referral fees to its users.
The platform has also broadened its product lineup beyond spot trading. On June 11, Fomo launched perpetual futures contracts powered by Hyperliquid for users outside the United States, positioning itself as a more comprehensive trading venue. While Pump.fun retains its 30-day revenue lead, Fomo's Friday performance signals intensifying competition within Solana's fast-growing DeFi ecosystem.
