Nasdaq-Listed Solana Company Named Hong Kong Strategic Enterprise
Hong Kong has named Nasdaq-listed Solana Company (HSDT) a strategic enterprise under the government’s Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) program. The company said it was included in OASES’ seventh batch and was the only blockchain infrastructure company selected by the office in 2026. Hong Kong confirmed 18 new enterprises last week, bringing the program’s total to 142.
The designation gives Solana Company a centralized contact point across government agencies and regulators. According to a company spokesperson, the status can also expedite pathways for recruiting overseas talent and introduce the business to local institutional partners seeking blockchain infrastructure and digital-asset services.
Solana Company operates staking and validator infrastructure and advises financial institutions on adopting blockchain technology. It also holds Solana (SOL) as part of its digital asset treasury strategy, linking the Nasdaq-listed company directly to the growth of the Solana ecosystem.
The company plans to establish validator operations in Hong Kong under its Pacific Backbone initiative, which aims to develop low-latency blockchain infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region. The planned expansion would strengthen Solana Company’s regional presence while giving Hong Kong institutions greater access to distributed validator infrastructure.
