Revolut Data Breach, Nvidia-Anthropic $10B Talks, Bitcoin Suisse Shift Abroad

Revolut disclosed that sensitive customer data, including passport copies, verification selfies, and full transaction histories, was exposed through a sophisticated impersonation scam. According to International Cyber Digest, fraudulent requests sent from a legitimate government agency email domain passed the fintech giant's verification checks before being flagged as inauthentic. A Revolut spokesperson confirmed to Cointelegraph that the company identified the external impersonation scheme, blocked the offending address, alerted the relevant government agency, and notified affected customers on Friday. The company has also contacted enforcement agencies and financial regulators as it investigates the scope of the compromise.

Nvidia is reportedly in discussions to invest up to $10 billion in a forthcoming Anthropic IPO that could raise as much as $100 billion and value the AI company at approximately $2 trillion. Citing people familiar with the talks, Reuters reported on Saturday that the deal would position Nvidia as an early strategic backer of what may become the largest IPO in history while strengthening ties between the chipmaker and one of its largest customers. Anthropic declined to comment, and Nvidia had not responded to a request for comment at the time of publication, with both sides noting that terms could still change.

Meanwhile, Swiss-based crypto financial services firm Bitcoin Suisse is preparing to relocate up to half of its Swiss workforce abroad as part of an international expansion strategy. Founded in Zug in 2013, the company offers crypto trading, custody, staking, and lending services. The restructuring reflects broader trends among European crypto firms scaling operations into more favorable regulatory jurisdictions. Bitcoin Suisse's move signals continued geographic diversification across the crypto banking sector as competition for talent and compliance-friendly markets intensifies.
