REX Launches 2x Leveraged ETF Tied to Bitcoin Treasury Firm Strive

REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management have launched the T-REX 2X Long ASST Daily Target ETF (ticker: ASSX), a leveraged exchange-traded fund designed to deliver twice the daily performance of Strive, a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company and asset manager. The fund began trading on Cboe on Friday and resets its leverage daily, meaning returns over periods longer than a single trading day can diverge significantly from 200% of Strive's share-price performance, before fees and expenses are applied.

Unlike spot Bitcoin ETFs, ASSX does not hold Bitcoin or track BTC's price directly. Instead, it provides magnified exposure to Strive's equity, offering traders a leveraged vehicle to bet on the company's stock performance. According to REX and Tuttle, the firms also run similar 2x leveraged ETFs linked to Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), BitMine, Cipher Mining, Circle, and SharpLink, rounding out a suite of single-stock leveraged crypto-adjacent products.

Strive currently holds 25,000 BTC, ranking it as the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, according to data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET. The company financed its latest 469-BTC acquisition through sales of SATA, its perpetual preferred stock. On Friday, shares of Strive rose 6.4% to close at $30.09, modestly above the $29.40 average 12-month price target among analysts tracked by S&P Global. The launch of ASSX adds a new layer of leveraged trading access to the growing Bitcoin treasury company sector, though investors should weigh the compounding risks inherent in daily-reset leveraged ETFs.
