REX Launches 2x Leveraged ETF Tracking Bitcoin Treasury Firm Strive
REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management have introduced a new leveraged exchange-traded fund designed to deliver twice the daily performance of Strive, a publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company and asset manager. The T-REX 2X Long ASST Daily Target ETF began trading on Friday under the ticker ASSX on Cboe, offering traders a high-conviction vehicle to amplify bets on Strive's share-price movements. The fund resets its leverage daily, meaning compounded returns over multi-day holding periods can deviate sharply from a simple 2x multiple of Strive's performance.
Unlike spot Bitcoin ETFs that hold BTC directly, ASSX provides leveraged equity exposure to Strive and does not track Bitcoin's price. REX and Tuttle noted that the firms also manage 2x leveraged ETFs linked to Strategy, BitMine, Cipher Mining, Circle, and SharpLink, expanding a growing suite of single-stock leveraged products targeting crypto-adjacent companies. The launch reflects accelerating institutional appetite for vehicles that combine traditional equity mechanics with digital-asset treasury strategies.
Strive currently holds 25,000 Bitcoin, ranking it as the fifth-largest publicly traded corporate BTC holder, according to BitcoinTreasuries.NET data. The company funded its most recent 469-BTC acquisition through proceeds raised from sales of SATA, its perpetual preferred stock instrument. Shares of Strive climbed 6.4% on Friday to close at $30.09, modestly above the $29.40 average 12-month price target tracked among analysts by S&P Global, suggesting markets viewed the new leveraged product as a positive demand signal for the treasury company's equity.
