Spot Bitcoin ETFs Pull $3.8B in 3 Weeks, Best 2026 Streak as BTC Hovers Near $80K

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds have recorded their strongest three-week inflow stretch of 2026, attracting $986.9 million in the week ending Friday and pushing cumulative three-week net inflows to $3.8 billion, according to SoSoValue data. The surge marks a dramatic reversal from heavy outflows earlier this year, though year-to-date net flows across the 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs remain roughly $1 billion negative. Total net assets across all US spot Bitcoin ETFs stood at $101.3 billion on Friday, having briefly touched $103.3 billion a day earlier, while cumulative net inflows since launch reached $55.6 billion.

Friday's net inflows of $174.6 million cooled significantly from the nearly $731 million recorded Thursday, even as BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) continued to dominate the space. IBIT drew $117.4 million, accounting for approximately 67% of total daily inflows, according to Farside Investors. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) was the only other fund to attract net inflows, pulling in $57.2 million, while all remaining US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded zero net flows. The slowdown coincided with Bitcoin dropping from around $81,200 to briefly trading below $79,000 on Friday following a surprise nonfarm payrolls print.

The divergence between Bitcoin ETF demand and competing crypto products was pronounced. Compared with the prior week, Bitcoin ETF inflows rose about 7%, while US spot Ether ETF inflows plunged roughly 74% to $218.4 million from $824.4 million. Spot XRP ETF inflows fared even worse, falling approximately 83% to $19 million from $110.5 million over the same period, per SoSoValue. Despite the weekly slowdown, both Ether and XRP ETFs remain in positive territory year-to-date, with US spot Ether ETFs attracting roughly $863 million and XRP ETFs drawing about $515 million.

Bitcoin traded at $79,716 at publication time, up approximately 2.6% over the preceding seven days according to CoinGecko. While IBIT's continued dominance underscores BlackRock's outsized role in shaping institutional crypto access, the broader three-week inflow trend suggests renewed institutional appetite for Bitcoin exposure as macroeconomic volatility persists. The contrast with cooling Ether and XRP demand points to a rotation narrative within crypto ETF products rather than a sector-wide retreat. Investors and analysts will be watching whether the Bitcoin momentum can hold into the next reporting period or whether Friday's dip signals further consolidation near the $80,000 level.
