Stickers are one of Telegram's most popular features. They're more expressive than emoji and fully customizable. Here's everything you need to know.
Finding Sticker Packs
- In chat: Tap the sticker icon, then browse trending and recently used packs
- Search: Type a keyword in the sticker panel to find relevant stickers
- Share links: Sticker packs have shareable links like t.me/addstickers/PackName
- Bot search: Message @stickers to search by keyword
Adding a Sticker Pack
When someone sends you a sticker you like, tap on it to preview the full pack. Hit "Add Stickers" to save the entire set. You can also tap the "Add" button next to individual stickers.
Creating Your Own Stickers
Telegram makes it easy to create custom stickers:
- Open @Stickers bot in Telegram
- Send
/newpackto create a new sticker pack - Choose a name for your pack
- Send PNG images (512x512 pixels, transparent background) or use the built-in editor
- Assign an emoji to each sticker
- Send
/publishto make your pack available
Animated & Video Stickers
Telegram supports three types of stickers:
- Static — PNG images (512x512)
- Animated — Lottie-based vector animations (.tgs files)
- Video — WEBM videos (up to 3 seconds, 512x512)
Animated stickers can be created with Adobe After Effects using Telegram's Lottie plugin.
Managing Your Stickers
Go to Settings > Stickers to reorder, archive, or remove sticker packs. You can also set a pack as your default suggestion set.
